So I've decided that the fall is my favorite season. Before Anne was born, I couldn't make up my mind between spring and fall. My birthday's in the spring and it's always so nice when the weather finally warms up after the winter. BUT, since my wedding is in November and my two favorite holidays are about this time (Halloween and Christmas) and Anne's birthday is almost in the fall, I think I like the fall best. (Ok, so Christmas isn't in the fall but all the preparations and shopping are ALMOST in the fall). I have really enjoyed seeing the leaves start to turn and blow in the wind. I carved a pumpkin on Saturday (ostensibly for Anne but really for me).
Can you believe that I will have been married for a year next month? The time has flown by ... but being pregnant seemed to last forever. It is so strange that my life has changed so much in the past two years.
I am so excited. I have found the perfect Christmas gift for Brian. Last year Brian was so excited about Christmas ... I hadn't really found a good gift for him and ... it wasn't the best Christmas, because I love giving the perfect gift and I couldn't find it. BUT THIS YEAR .... I am so excited that I thought of it now because if I had it work on it later it probably wouldn't have been ready by Christmas. I can't tell you all what it is because Brian reads my blog. He knows I'm working on something to do with pictures but that's it.
Anne is doing well. Today she has been rather fussy, but right now she's down for a nap. She sleeps from about 10 at night to 4-5, nurses, and goes back to sleep until 7-8. Did I tell you she was the best baby or what?
