I could be going to visit Maria in Alaska! My grandma has some airmiles which she has offered to me. Those would get me to Anchorage. My parents offered the flight from Anchorage to Fairbanks as a graduation present.
The downside is that USAirways is going bankrupt so I don't know when the airmiles might go bad. And I can't go anywhere on vacation until the nanny kids are out of school, I think in June. At which point I also need another job. I can't go during spring break because Maria and family will be visiting here!!!!
Two things on my life's todo list are make a Regency dress and to go to Alaska. Seeing the Northern Lights and a moose were on my list before Maria moved there. I'm getting closer to both!

Glorious Saint Gerard, because, like your Divine Master, you bore without murmur or complaint the calumnies of wicked men when falsely accused of crime, you have been raised up by God as the patron and protector of expectant mothers. Preserve me in the dangers of motherhood, and shield the child I now bear, that it may be brought safely to the light of day and receive the sacrament of baptism.

I hope that you get to go to Alaska! That would be so much fun! Jon was talking about a road trip to Alaska sometime. But I think flying would be much more pleasant. Oh I hope you get to go. Make sure you post pictures if you do :o)
