Everything's ducky!
So as much as I want to marry Brian, I am starting to get tired of the stress.
Both of us were grumpy last night and I even snapped over something as small as wall spackle. I kept asking what kept the towel rack in the wall and Brian kept saying spackle. I didn't understand how what is essentially mud and wall hole filler could hold up the weight of a ceramic towelbar. So anyway, I thought he was being hard to deal with and he thought he was giving me a straight answer. Anyway ...
So I had one of my two wedding showers on Sunday. My mother and my sister were horribly late because sister left late, as always, and they got lost on the three hour drive to Brian's parents' house. They got there safe and sound though. I was just frustrated that they left an hour after I told Madeline my sister she had to be leaving!
My presents were the funniest part of the shower. Why the funniest? Because my mom and grandma picked them off our registry. BUT I didn't register for ANYTHING with ducks on them! I opened present after present and thought it was rather strange to receive a duck hamper, duck cabinet, duck nightlight, duck decals, duck stepstool, duck towels, and a plain yellow duck when I hadn't asked for anything like. It turns out that my grandma had printed the wrong registry. Someone with my same name is getting married next year! I really like the ducks though. They match the yellow bathroom, but not something I would have asked for. We are going to keep them!
