Sprouts

Today the sprouts I've been growing are ready to eat. In my attempts to be healthier I've been trying to eat lots of different good things for me. I remember my mom making sprouts. I thought it was the weirdest way of making a vegetable:

You soak 2 tblsp of seeds in a jar covered with a screen in water overnight. The next day you drain them and set them in a kitchen cabinet out of the light. For the next 3 days, rinse them in water once a day. When they're big enough, set them out to green up in the sunlight. Voila! A vegetable that I like!

So I do like others, but I'm picky and trying to eat 4 a day is like trying to ... oh, I don't know ... it's like trying to ... Ok. I can't think of anything its like. It could be fun if I made enough time in my life to make something fun. I think I might try to make a soup or something. Oh, I've already done that 3 times. Anyway. I am ready to have lunch. All this talk of vegetables has actually made me hungry.

Not much else new around here. I'm sleepy and tired. The smell of Brian's breakfast nearly made me throwup. What did he have? Nothing more adventurous than a sausage and cheese Lean Pocket. Brian is working away at his new job. He is working on finished up the project paperwork for the guy who left, so for the next few months, he will have to do the boring part of his job instead of the interesting design part which is already done. He also has been delivering pizza for extra money before the baby is born. Both of us are tired and as much as we want to visit and see family and friends, we're trying to stay caught up with each other and the house. I think we are planning on a few different things though in the coming weeks. I want a break before the baby is born or I'll go crazy.
