We're back!
I was so busy preparing that I haven't had any computer time. The trip was great. Anne behaved wonderfully on both flights, sleeping at least two hours both ways. We brought a sling, back baby carrier, and umbrella stroller and used them all at various points. Sling for the cable cars, carrier for airport (and suitcase travel without arms), and the stroller for the piers in the city. The bridge was beautiful but the weather was cold. All three of us were chilly - the fog was cold!
Brian's business meeting went well. We ate out at a very fancy restaurant with Brian's business people. Corralling Anne at a dimly lit $100 per person restaurant (appetizers, drinks, entrees, and desserts) was a new mommy moment. Anne was superb, but a baby is a baby. We left some cereal on the floor and nearly tipped over the ice bucket. But I did get to eat, which is an accomplishment, and Anne eventually fell asleep.
Brian and I loved visiting the Pacific ocean. We now have samples of sand from Atlantic, Carribean, and Pacific beaches.
