Ok. I admit it. I'm a grammar and spelling junkie. While a little fun with words and spelling is ok, going to extremes is not. The reason why rules are invented are ... it helps us to communicate! Oh, really? Yes, a period signals a full stop, a comma a short stop. Capitalization has its place at the start of sentences and for things that deserve more importance and identification, e.g. names. My name is Meg, not mEg.
Anyway. I like it when people read my blog. I really do. And I don't think I'd like to scare everyone away with extreme writing techniques. But to each his own. I don't mind not having ANY capitalization. But completely misplaced capitalization ... that gives me the shivers and the impules to move on.
Enough of a rant. Work was good today even though I worked at the sandwich shop. Fewer customers to help and more fun making sandwiches, but I don't know how to run the register yet. My mom found a posting for a tech job at the hospital for which I think I am going to apply. If nothing else it will be good practice and a chance to network.
Suzanne, Teresa, Crista, Claire, and I are starting a Jane Austen Book Club. Suzanne, Teresa, and Crista are my bestfriend's mom and sisters, and Claire is my sister. I have so many good ideas for tea parties, movies to watch, and questions to consider, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'll let you know what develops.
I'm off to do the dishes I should have washed this morning. But being me, I put them off until tonight. I'm also going to see about making banana bread; I want to use up all the bananas in my freezer that went spotty before I got around to eating them. Bananas have a very short ripe window of eating for me. Any spots and they're too ripe! I hate mushy bananas. Brown spots are best utilized in banana bread in any case.

Oh Meg, I have to agree with you on the whole grammatical rant! I have the exact same reaction when I come accross blogs like that because I have to really concentrate on reading them. It just is'nt worth all that effort to me at all!
I would love to hear more about how the book club is going! Maybe you could all look me up online when you all meet and I can join you virtually! lol!
Hey you should enjoy the bannanas back home because here they are either green or rotten. No in-between!
