Distraction

I am so distracted the past few days. Not in any big way, but in my daily life. It feels like my brain has been scattered through my house and every morning I have to gather it up to begin again all over. Weird image. I think it stems from the fact that I haven't been sleeping well. I absolutely cannot be late to work and I was late last week. I'm still getting used to being up at 7:30 every morning M - F. I had been taking Madeline to work, but she went to St. Louis for two days so I haven't had someone to call me to make sure that I was awake. I've been bolting up right just about every hour or two to look at the clock for the past few nights. Dropping Madeline off at the shutted at 5:30 am didn't help either.

Ok. What do you make of this dream? I was at the mall with my deli supervisor Donetta, but the two of us had to get through Target to get to the other side of the mall. I picked up a few items that I wanted and meant to purchase them and then meet Donetta at the door. She had to be somewhere soon so I had to be fast. The store had implemented a new self service system which was supposed to be fast and easy. But somehow, it wouldn't take ANY of the cards I had, and believe me I tried them all - even my Kroger coupon plus card and my Marsh savings card. NO credit card, NO debit card, NO grandma's L.S. Ayers card, Nothing worked. Donetta was waiting and I couldn't buy this stuff! And I HAD to have it. And then I realized it was a dream and I woke up. (My grandma bought my new pink bra at Ayers and for some reason I still had her store card.)

Anyway. I'm distracted and unfocused so I'm not going up update my "Currents". I think I'm going to take a shower and have something to eat before I pick the kids up from school.
