In the theme of my Scrabble post, I thought I'd share this picture. It was taken about a year ago, maybe?
This is me, my dad, and my brother in the kitchen in our old house making homemade strawberry ice cream. Notice how tan I am. This is when I actually went tanning right before I flew out to visit Chris in Dover, Delaware. I no longer fly to Delaware or go tanning. It made my skin wrinkle and age so fast! Plus, my mom kept saying "melanoma, melanoma, melanoma"! Notice too the "long" hair. It was longer than this when I shaved it off!
The foil helmets are my brother and dad's idea of a joke, based on the movie Signs. The helmets keep the creatures from reading thoughts. My dad is wearing a t-shirt from my cousin's bagel shop in Houston. But Christian recently shut it down. Too bad. He got advertising in Indiana!
My family has entirely enough fun without going anywhere at all. In fact, I encourage them to stay at home. Wink, wink. Just wait till you see "Madeline's Almost Naked Picture." That's tomorrow.
