My brother Doug who will be turning 13 next month. I had been trying to post pics of my family and had gotten through my parents and Claire. After Doug, only Madeline, Gus, Zini, and Rusty are left! I'm counting pets as well as siblings. :)
Doug's voice is staring to change even as he shoots up. I think he must have grown 6 inches this summer. Isn't he cute?! He's in training to be the perfect boyfriend. With 3 older sisters you better believe it! Can the boy give a backrub or what? A soccer goal keeper, Harry Potter fan, always willing helper, financial miser, always ready with a funny quip jokester, quiet and shy middle schooler around those he doesn't know, Doug is quite the young man.

Great Saint Gerard, beloved servant of Jesus Christ, perfect imitator of our meek and humble Savior, and devoted child of the Mother of God, enkindle in my heart one spark of that heavenly of charity which glowed in yours and made you a seraph of love. Glorious Saint Gerard, because, like your Divine Master, you bore without murmur or complaint the calumnies of wicked men when falsely accused of crime, you have been raised up by God as the patron and protector of expectant mothers. Preserve me in the dangers of motherhood, and shield the child I now bear, that it may be brought safely to the light of day and receive the sacrament of baptism.
